Lyme Bay to be Mapped
Published on 13 Jul 05
Devon Wildlife Trust is to undertake a detailed analysis of the seabed in Lyme Bay.
The Trust will video, use sonar and will take samples to enable them to manage the Dorset and Devon coastline more effectively.
Devon Wildlife Trust's Marine Officer, Richard Stanford said: Large stretches of the Lyme Bay coast have been designated a World Heritage Site, but the importance of the area doesn't stop at the beach. The filming will really help to fill in the pieces of the jigsaw we don't yet have."
